Becky Jamison, LCMHC

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of New Hampshire (license # 1226).  I have always been interested in why we think, feel and act the way we do as humans.  I am fascinated by how people learn and change, by what is nature (genetic) about us and what we learned through how we were nurtured (or not nurtured). I entered the field of Mental Health Counseling because I wanted to know "Can we change ourselves?" and if so, how and how much? Current research shows we can continue to grow and change throughout our lives. This is so exciting. I come from a family in which some of us tend towards anxiety, and some towards depression (some towards both). Some have ADHD tendencies, and some have anger issues. Some have social anxiety, while other lean towards narcissism. Some have had substance use issues. Some are divorced and some are not. Some are differently gendered. In other words a typical American extended family.  I've managed to stay happily married, despite ups and downs, for 38 years, raise several  kids and now have several grandkids.

I've worked with a wide variety of people as a counselor. My current focus is working with Adults (18+) and with Couples. I know people can change, their symptoms can improve, and they can get through the many challenges that life throws at us all.
